in the "social media realm" it's a "thing" to make sure that all of your Instagram posts look uniform.
I'm a firm believer that these kind of rules are stupid. but I will admit that accounts do have a certain appealing aesthetic when all of the pictures are filtered the same and have the same glow or tint or..whatever.
Since I don't following these rules on my own Instagram I though it would be fun to test out the effect of one specific filter or ~filter family~ on different pictures and see what they look like filtered the same way.
I used the P5 filter on VSCO. I like to call this the "moody" filter.
It's cool how they all now look uniform. But this filter takes away some of the appeal of some photos.
Certain ones would look better under a different hue. But this was a fun little experiment.
