One of the first stops on our cross country road was good old rocky top Tennessee. I had fun exploring downtown on the way out of Knoxville before heading to Missouri.
It was such a beautiful day that it wasn't hard to get some great shots of the city. It is definitely worth it to take a walk down the pedestrian bridge and take in the scenery after you escape the debauchery of Broadway.
We only had a few hours to kill so the main mission was to find some A+ BBQ.
All I can really say is go to Jacks BBQ. Their pork shoulder is literally one of the best things I have ever eaten in my life. I also got mac & cheese, potato salad and corn bread.
If I had more time I would've loved to check out the Johnny Cash Museum and one of the many old timey, saloons.
