I'll be honest. Cruises are kind of stupid. Like I get the concept but something about being on a boat with the same 5,000 people for 5 days just makes me uncomfortable.
Anyways. I went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise, and despite all of the above complaints,
it was a great time and went to great destinations.
Stop one was Nassau, Bahamas. My favorite thing about Nassau were the colors.
The colors on the island were unreal.
The nature and the architecture .
I journeyed to capture as many of them as possible.
I'm not sure if you've heard, but if you see a colored wall,
you're required by law to take seemingly candid photos in front of it.
Being the law abiding citizen I acted cute by this turquoise wall.
The best thing was that every street and alley and building was different.
The people were friendly and also judged me openly for thinking it was cool and photographing all of the things they see every day.
We took a stroll through the Straw Market, which had everything from handmade straw baskets and purses featuring all of your favorite characters from the movie frozen, to beautiful artifacts from the island. And not to mention the ever-popular Bahamian knock-off Michael Kors watch.
I want to live in this exact house.
Seriously, the colors everywhere!
The same law that goes for colored walls applies to stairs as well, in case you didn't know.
Thank you for having us. You were beautiful and gracious and had delicious Conch Fritters.
Coco Cay and Key West, you're up next.
Until next time,
